Roofing of the commercial center at the Uzinelor street

Solar Construct carried out a range of roofing works for a commercial centre using PVC membranes.

A layer of vapor barrier film was applied over the concrete base. The insulation was done using extruded polystyrene (XPS) sheets. A cementoplast layer served as the slope-forming layer, over which a dry-method screed was applied.

As waterproofing, the German PVC roofing membrane Rhenofol CV with a thickness of 2.0 mm was used. The membrane was laid over a protective layer of geotextile and mechanically fastened to the base. Water drainage from the roof was implemented through parapet outlets.

The use of modern roofing with PVC membranes in Moldova is a reliable, durable, and energy-efficient solution for buildings of any type. Such roofs allow for quick installation over large areas, high-quality automated welding of the sheets, and the possibility of installation at low air temperatures.
