Roofing of the production facility at the Columna street

This project represents the reconstruction of an old industrial building.

The load-bearing part of the roof consists of prefabricated elements – reinforced concrete trusses and prefabricated roof slabs. The roof slope is formed by the shape of the supporting structures. The insulation is provided by two layers. The bottom layer of stone wool plates and the upper layer of extruded polystyrene (XPS) 

A solid base for attaching the roofing membrane is the cement-sand screed. Water drainage from the roof is realized through internal drainage funnels.

As waterproofing, PVC roofing membrane with a thickness of 1.5 mm was used . The membrane was installed over a protective layer of geotextile and mechanically fixed to the base. In areas with increased wind impact, our specialists provided enhanced membrane fixing (wind zones), in accordance with the requirements for PVC roofing.

The use of modern roofs with PVC membranes in Moldova is a reliable, durable, and energy-efficient solution for buildings of any type. These roofs allow for the fast installation of large areas, high-quality automated sheet welding, and the possibility of installation at low air temperatures.
