Industrial Roof Reconstruction at the Uzinelor street

Solar Construct completed a project for the reconstruction of an old industrial building’s roof in Moldova using a modern PVC membrane.

Roof Structure

🔹Load-bearing system: reinforced concrete trusses and prefabricated roof slabs
🔹Roof slope formed by the structure’s geometry
🔹Thermal insulation layer made of cementoplast
🔹Base for waterproofing: cement-sand screed
🔹Water drainage via internal drains

Waterproofing was carried out using a black PVC membrane (optional color), installed over geotextile and mechanically fastened.
Reinforced fastening was applied in high wind exposure zones, according to PVC roofing standards.
