Roofing of a shopping center in Cimișlia city

Solar Construct carried out a range of roofing works for commercial centre using PVC membranes.

The load-bearing part of the roof is a lightweight long-span structure consisting of steel trusses covered with load-bearing profiled deck sheets. The roof slope is formed by the shape of the supporting structures. The insulation consists of two layers of stone wool with different densities. The load-bearing profiled deck sheets serves as the base for the mechanical fastening of the roofing membrane.

Water drainage from the roof is realized through internal drainage funnels.

As waterproofing, PVC roofing membrane with a thickness of 1.5 mm was used. In areas with increased wind impact, our specialists provided reinforced membrane fixing (wind zones), in accordance with the requirements for PVC roofing.
